TV Anchor

Duties and responsibilities: Deliver newscasts through out the day also anchors gather information and gather news stories. TV anchors research current events happening and write a story

Reflection: I want to become a TV anchor it looks very exciting because you are on TV. They do your hair, make-up and provide you with wardrobe. I also like to know whats happening around the world so researching and writing stories are no biggy.

Reflection: The only way to predict your future is by you making it happen and creating it. The decisions you are making are going to come out in your future.

Whenever someone sneezes people say "God bless you" because it is used to wish a person blessing in various situations, specifically as a response to a sneeze. The say originated from the Jews and Christians from the Hebrew Bible.

Reflection: I believe this quote means if you think something is right do it. If you feel something is wrong do not do it. Follow what your mind is telling you always choose the right. 

Health Information Specialist

Duties and responsibilities: Focuses on a patients security or privacy, they work with patients care data also ensure proper health insurance. Compile, process, and maintain medical records. 

Salary: $37,710

Education: Associates degree 
                                      
Reflection: This is a career I would not want to be in I cannot picture myself as a Health Information Specialist in the future. I have no interest in this part of the medical field, working at a desk for the majority of the time is not something I want to do.  

Video Summary

This video showed me that you should give to people out of your heart. Like Myles in the video he found money and instead of wasting it on him self, out of his kindness he gave it to the soldier. The soldier reminded him of his dad so he wanted to give him the money he found. Myles knew it was a good deed so he went to the cemetery to tell his father all about it. The soldier was honored and happy that a little boy would do such a thing like that.

Reflection: I think this quote means that if you do your part in a positive way everything good would happen. Act well and you would be honored. 

Environmental Health Specialist

Duties and responsibilities: responsible for protecting the environment, public health and safety. Also inspecting the premises and investigating is every thing is safe for the community.   

Salary: $62,982

Education: Training, a bachelor degree, 2 years of experience 

        

Reflection: I would not be interested in this career because I can not see my self being happy working as a environmental health specialist. The job seems banal to me because you are just inspecting around.

Reflection: I think this quote means if you are with bad people you will do bad things so it is best to stay away from them. If being around bad people is bad influence for you it is better to be by yourself if that is going to help you be good and choose the right. You have to surround yourself with people choosing positive things in life it is best for you. 

Presidents Day

Presidents day is a holiday celebrated in America, precisely on February 16. The holiday was established by George Washington in 1885, it was also an attempt to have more three day weekends for the nation's workers. President's day is now viewed as a day to honor and celebrate all United States presidents from present to past. The federal government still officially calls the holiday as "Washington's birthday". You can show honor on Presidents day by being grateful for are past presidents and for the president we have now also folding the U.S. flag properly etc.

Reflection: I believe this quote means if you chase for your goal in life do not give up just because you don't see your goal at the moment. 

History Of Basketball

                              Basketball   
1. James Naismith invented basketball. 
2. Basketball was invented in Springfield, Massachusetts
3. In 1891 basketball was invented. 
4. James Naismith invented the game basketball while working at the YMCA training school. 
5. When it was winter the students would have to go in the gym and be active so James Naismith invented the game basketball to play indoors. 
6. James Naismith had 33 rules for basketball. 

                                                         Tanna and Christian 
I learned from this video that Christian has a big heart and knew it was right to apologizes to Tanna. Tanna felt happy about a 15 year boy apologizing for his fathers mistake. Christian is right you are your own person and that means you are not going to come out exactly like your parents.

Reflection: If you do things right you will survive and live to the fullest. If you do wrong your life would be filled with worries and negative things which would make your life difficult and miserable. That is a reason some people suicide them self because they chose the wrong and don't want to live no more because they are ashamed. Therefore the people that do things right live happy and long and grateful they are alive. 

Veterinarian

Duties and responsibilities: Veterinarian's deal with all types of animals , they clean their teethes, detects animals for injuries or diseases, give medication if needed etc.

Salary: $86,640

Education: Baccalaureate degree into a vet medicine program, D.V.M 

                                                        
Reflection: When i was a little girl I always wanted to be a Veterinarian because I loved animals. So yes I am still interested in this career the education seems a little difficult but possible. This job seems fun because you work with animals and that is exciting to me. 

Western Medicine Doctor

Duties and responsibilities: Traditional medicine also called allopathic medicine which medical doctors use to treat symptoms and illnesses using drugs, radiation or surgery.  

Salary: $72,710 

Education: Medical school, Clinical Care, Research and Service 
                                        

Reflection: No i would not like to be a Western doctor because I can not see my self doing that in the future. The career seems banal to me because I am not interested in the medical field.
